OUR PASTOR
![]() |
Rev. Carol Granger joined us on July 18, 2007 as our settled pastor. Carol, who grew up in Springfield, MA, brings some very special talents to her pastoral ministry. After graduating from high school, Carol trained to be a registered nurse, a profession she worked in for a number of years. Towards the end of her nursing career, Carol's loving heart led her to become a hospice nurse. It was while she was working in the hospice program that she began to hear God calling her to ordained ministry. Carol entered Andover Newton Theological School and earned her Masters of Divinity degree in 2004. Carol has a range of congregational experience. She has a strong background in children's and youth ministry as she worked in this area while attending Seminary. Upon Graduation from seminary, Carol was called to the First Congregational Church in Pittsfield, Maine where she served for three years before being called to be our pastor. She was installed as our settled pastor on November 11, 2007. A word from our Pastor: "It is a wonderful journey we are on here at the United Church of Clinton. I am pleased that you have found your way to our website. If you are searching for a church home, I encourage you to visit us. As you can see, there is a lot going on here.
